Frankly speaking, I think below these words reflect your style: Open, Business driven, innovation, Transformation, Marketing, Passion.  I like your style, you give my team and me a lot of guidance, I learned a lot from you in the past years. It is sad to say bye to you. I would like to thank you for all your support you've given me. It's been great working with you.  Wish you all the best in your future endeavours.  You will be sorely missed.

There are a couple of things that I wanted to say to you before your departure. The first and most important thing is:  thank you. Thanks for the fantastic leadership that you have brought to the company in the near 5 years I have been with IDC.  Thanks for the raucous, tear inducing laughter that we've shared over the many dinners and drinks over the years.  These memories bring a smile to my face, but when it came to discussing the business it made me want to give you my best effort. I felt challenged to think about what I did in new and creative ways. I wanted to perform at my best and demonstrate to the market that IDC had the right ingredients for success.  As you take those first few steps away from IDC and into your future, I want you to know that you have made an impact and a difference. I wish you success and above all happiness.

To say the least, I'm very surprised and sorry to hear this news.  You have been an excellent leader for IDC Asia/Pacific and have done a very good job each year with the many challenges of running an Asia-based, complex IDC market intelligence business.

Congrats on your move - you will be missed at IDC - one of the few senior female executives. I have no doubt you will knock the socks off your new company. All the best!

I just wanted to send you a personal Thank You for the trust, support and guidance you have provided me over the last 6 years. Its been a roller-coaster ride here over the past years and I really appreciate that you always made the time to engage in the local challenges despite the relatively small business down here. Your discussions with the team made a real difference to myself but also to the overall team and their feel of belonging to the broader IDC family.  It has been an absolute pleasure working under you over the last years. I have learned and developed a lot and will apply many of your "often unorthodox" lessons and approaches in my future dealings as a manager.

Just a little note with a big congratulations on your new career opportunity.  And to say what a big loss your leaving is for IDC.  Here's wishing you all the very best.  I wish I'd had the opportunity to work more directly with you with your impressive accomplishments and skills.  Here's to a most wonderful next phase in your career.
